Upson Regional Medical Center Auxiliary Installs New Officers

Thomaston – The Upson Regional Medical Center Auxiliary installed new officers at its quarterly meeting November 25.

The installed Auxiliary officers include Ann Weatherford – President, Dee Ann Hinson – President-Elect, Ms. Barbara Rogers – Past President, Vivian Gordy – Recording Secretary, Frances Fennell – Corresponding Secretary, Cleo Tatum – Treasurer, and Ann McDaniel – Parliamentarian. The new officers will lead the Auxiliary for a two-year term.

David Castleberry, Upson Regional Medical Center CEO, installed the new officers. “Although the faces of the Auxiliary Officers are changing, there is one thing that remains the same – the willingness to make a difference,” said Castleberry. “We appreciate very much everything the Auxiliary does to make a difference for our patients, their families, and Upson Regional Medical Center.”

The Auxiliary was organized in 1950, one year before the hospital was completed for full operation of service on April 22, 1951. Today, there are 95 active members who donate each year more than 17,000 hours of their time and talents to support the mission of Upson Regional Medical Center.

New members are always welcome. To learn more about becoming an auxiliary member, please call 706-647-8111 ext. 1185.
